Our customers have come to expect some level of personalization when interacting with our systems. Long gone are the days when personalization could separate us from the competition. If you are not already personalizing content for your customers, that request is coming sooner rather than later. When the marketing team asks you what it takes to begin personalization, do you know if your team and tools are ready?

Knowing whether your organization is ready for personalization means exercising your marketing, experience design (XD) and Drupal architecture muscles. In this session, you will learn how to perform a current state audit to know where to start on your personalization journey. This includes a personalization readiness assessment for your organization, identification of the right types of people who will need to support your personalization efforts, and an audit of your existing experience to know if it's ready to go or if things need to change.

Learning Objectives

  • Perform a personalization readiness assessment on your current organization
  • Identify the cross-functional team that's needed for a successful personalization program

  • Perform an audit of your existing experience to understand what needs to change to enable personalziation
