Diversity and Inclusion

The Drupal Association and the volunteers that contribute to DrupalCon strive to make our conference an inclusive and welcoming environment for all who come. It’s important to us because new and unique voices create deeper conversation, and ultimately, because different perspectives make for better product.

We consciously work to increase the diversity of the speakers who take the stage at DrupalCon to ensure that they better represent the Drupal community, and we care that the people who attend DrupalCon feel comfortable and welcome, no matter their gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, age, religion or economic status.

In 2017 we started tracking diversity and inclusion at our events related to both individual and organization attendees, speakers, and sprint mentors. Here is some of what we know about our event so far.
