Common Accessibility Pitfalls in Design

When we talk about accessibility, we often hear about how content should be structured, what ARIA tags should be used, and how to perform manual and automated testing. We rarely talk about what design patterns tend to fail accessibility checks or that may cause problems for users.

Some of these design patterns revolve around how to set up cards, banners, carousels, forms, filters, accordions, and menus, so they are accessible and provide all users with an equivalent experience.
