Design for Developers

This session is intended to help developers understand the principles of design, so that they are better able to communicate with designers. Attendees will learn the logic and design principles that designers follow to make decisions, and how to apply it when translating design into code. Learning a little design can help to build empathy between team members and establish a shared language. Better communication between design and development naturally leads to time saved and products that can remain aligned to design principles and patterns as they grow. This session will specifically discuss the elements of design, how to apply the C. R. A. P. principle of design, and common accessibility issues to consider.
