Drupal 10: Modernizing Core JavaScript and removing jQuery

The Drupal community is in the process of finding and implementing modern replacements for outdated libraries such as jQuery, jQuery UI and Backbone, with the goal of removing them completely in Drupal 10. This is more than looking for 1:1 replacement, but to modernize core’s JavaScript overall. This session will cover why Drupal core is doing this, the current status of these efforts, and how the community can get involved.
