Islandora BoF

Islandora is a Drupal-based digital asset management system (DAMS) intended for use by academic and public libraries. It has a rich feature set to accommodate a wide variety of assets, along with library-specific tools to manage metadata and preservation needs.

Intended for Islandora users and those interested in using Islandora. The BoF will focus on experiences and issues from the community, with the intention of helping current users, as well as providing prospective users an inside look at the state of the project.

The discussion will include the ISLE project — Islandora deployed in docker — which is becoming the preferred deployment method.
