A new concept for “Visual” regressions based on data: GlitcherBot
I’ve been working for more than a decade building software in some of the biggest, most complex (sometimes Drupal) websites in the world. From BBC, TopGear , Royal Mail, IKEA, Novartis,…
One thing we’ve always struggled in our teams is to find bugs earlier, find them before our customers and users.
Current solutions (although some are very good), are generally complex, most of the time require a lot of work, lots of effort on maintenance, and they are not always perfect to cover each single page in big (and not so big) websites.
That’s why I’ve been working on a tool which aims to simplify “Visual” regression testing: GlitcherBot
Join me next month in Manchester where I come (virtually) to talk about GlitcherBot, and show you a short demo of how you can simplify your regression testing and reduce costs of bugs that may even pass unnoticed for weeks or months in the most hidden areas of your websites
