SeedMeLab: Award winning file management built on Drupal at UC San Diego

Publishing and managing data (files/folders) is crucial for many organizations. While file sharing services provide a useful alternative, but a well integrated, self hosted and branded solution is a holy grail for several applications.

This talk will showcase the SeedMeLab project that is built by Drupal and is being used for variety of use cases that include health care, research labs and government sites. Pluggable capabilities for data visualization and REST based interaction will also be discussed. The key modules from this work have been contributed to the Drupal ecosystem that make data management and file sharing a breeze on Drupal websites.
