Lead Frontend Developer at Annertech
As well as being chairperson of the Drupal Ireland Association, I am lead frontend developer at Annertech, Ireland largest and leading Drupal development agency, taking the lead on our large government, non-profit and corporate projects.
I like to speak (some people say I never shut up!). I have spoken at every Drupal Camp in Ireland for the past five years (and organised the speakers for them for three years) as well as being sole organiser of Drupal Camp Galway 2014. Topics I've spoken about include 'Creating Community Sites with Drupal Commons', 'Getting Started with Drupal Theming', 'The Content Editor Deserves an Easy Life', 'Getting Started With Drupal and Ionic Framework' (which I also gave at Frontend United in Ghent this year), and more. (That list of course doesn't include the many talks I've give at international conferences for organisations such as Amnesty International, Irish Congress of Trade Unions, and more.)
I like communities. I am very active in the Drupal Ireland community - organising, attending, and speaking at all events. I am very active on the DrupalTwig slack, especially in the #components and #how-to channels - presently giving my feedback on the proposal for a new (component-based) frontend theme in Drupal 8. I am maintainer of a number of Drupal modules, one Drupal 7 (dev) theme, and also the 'Hotbed' theme which we use on the www.DrupalUX.org website.
I like Drupal. When not Drupalling, I like to Drupal. Rinse and repeat!
