Fixed cost projects are a reality in today's world. All clients wants to know in advance, the money they will have to spend and the precise return on investment for it. This thinking poses a serious challenge to the team executing the project on the ground as there could be gaps at every step in the contracting process and thereafter. There is a continuous scope for making incorrect assumptions at both ends. It is highly unlikely event that a end-client will not throw in new changes after a iteration.
