Drupal 5 to Drupal 8

Hi, I am James from Taiwan.

My company is a news site, we builded this site from Drupal 5. (Now is 5.7)
Sure, it's really too old, so from July 2015, we start to design a new system on Drupal 8.

Because we had different site using Drupal 5, 6, 7, and patch a lot on 5, can't just use upgrade to Drupal 8, so make other way to new system.
I will share how do we design the structure and functions, learn Drupal 8 coding, and convert data to new site.

If you need to migrate to Drupal 8, or can't use upgrade, maybe you can get some information and idea from here.

I am Chief Developer at Cool3c Media Ltd., develop drupal modules, themes for need, and maintain server.
