Introduction:
The session will tell you how you can use the new configuration management in Drupal 8 to deploy site configurations and settings from your local to any other instance.
What we are going to cover:
- Configuration management system
- Purpose of active and sync directories of a Drupal 8 website
- When to use and not use Features module
- How to setup your project codebase
Session format:
The session will be presentation + demo. The demo part of the session will be most interesting as I will show you how to setup a project from scratch and deploy settings from one instance to other instance.
