Drupal 8 - Learning from research

The first RC is released, and this is the right time to start building Drupal 8 sites for our clients. But before using Drupal 8,  we must learn important and core things about Drupal 8 by researching them in the core itself.

Since we could not find enough information on Drupal 8 solutions at drupal.org forums, so we decided to research on our own and in this process we came up with some valuable insights, which we will present in this session.  

This session takes you to a tour of learning Drupal 8 in the best possible way. The session will also help you to find the solution in the Drupal 8 core itself.
In this talk, we are going to present the D8 magic on -

  • How to develop custom module

  • How to create custom entity

  • How to create fields programmatically and attaching them with content types

  • Magic of Drupal 8 hooks
