How, I improved performance of my Web application having 15 millions hits in a month?

I would like to present “How we started improving performance of a Drupal website?”. The objective of the project was to get around 10000 daily users on daily basis and the challenges was to find ways, which can measure website performance and provides different methods for improvement without disturbing its architecture.

In my session, I would also like to showcase, tools, techniques; various methods to measure and improve website’s performance. This also includes, "How did we analyze response time/performance test of an application in New Relic(SaS) and Jmeter/Blazemeter"?. Lastly, I would talk about best practices for improving performance of your large Web Based Application.
