Making remote teams work

In this session I will explore the issues that often come up when working with people from different parts of the world. Transparency, communication and the tools to improve this will be the main focus of the session. Improve your tools and ways to communicate with people from around the world.

Cultures when working with people matter. How things are said, done and communicated need to be thought about to make distributed teams work. Building a joint culture in a team is hard, but can it be done.

Originally from Finland, now living in Australia, I've worked in multinational and diverse teams from all over the world. I have worked with dozens of nationalities in various different timezones while still producing good results.
