Managing a large-scale Drupal project

The aim of this session is to introduce the audience to the challenges of delivering large-scale Drupal projects to enterprise customers. I will draw on my experiences as a project manager at Capgemini and Acquia Professional Services to highlight what makes a large-scale project different from a smaller project, how this affects Drupal best-practices and the kind of project management methodologies and delivery models that best meet the unique challenges. A fictional project for a fictional enterprise customer, heavily based on real-world experiences, will be used to walk the audience through the phases of a large-scale Drupal project from discovery to launch.
