Using Deploy in Drupal 8

Deploy was started by Greg Dunlap some 7 years ago for Drupal 5. Dick Olsson started committing to in 5 years ago. Since September 2015 Tim Millwood has been working on the Drupal 8 release.

For Drupal 8 Deploy has moved to more of a UI module as there is a lot more behind the scenes to make it work, much like Drupal 8 itself. The Multiversion and Relaxed modules of which Dick and Tim are both maintainers work as the foundations to Deploy.

In this session we will discuss the functionality exposed by the Multiversion and Relaxed modules, and what they do independently from Deploy. Then how to setup the Deploy module and how to Deploy content.

This session is a follow up to sessions in Barcelona and Los Angeles which talked about the Multiversion and Relaxed modules.
