A Tour of Drupal's Tours

The Tour module included in Drupal core and provides guided tours of a website's interface via tooltips. The Tour UI and Tour Builder module in contrib extend core's functionality by adding even more features.

In Drupal 9.2, tours got a major lift by upgrading the library behind it from the jQuery Joyride library to the Shepherd.js library making it more performant, and more accessible.

Drupal Tours were developed to provide a way for core and contrib modules to explain their functionality, but this tool can be used for so much more!
