From Working on a Production Line to Web Development
In this talk, I want to tell the story of how learning to program changed my life. When I moved to Vienna, I knew that being a Colombian in Austria would be challenging. I took a job in a production line that allows me to bring my wife and kids with me, but I was still not fulfilled with my day to day job. So in the night shifts, I used the computer to weigh the discarded plastic and create my firsts dev experiments with WordPad and internet explorer.
During this time in the production line, I found I enjoyed coding, so I decided to join the three-month developer program of UpLeveled. Today in UpLeveled.io, I work helping other people like me reach their development goals and feel proud and happy to switch careers and learn to code.
## Main Learnings
