Introducing the Privacy Sandbox https://privacysandbox.com/ to Drupal

Andrey Lipattsev

The Privacy Sandbox https://privacysandbox.com/ for the Web is a Chrome initiative to create technologies that both protect people's privacy online and give companies and developers tools to build thriving digital businesses. The Privacy Sandbox reduces cross-site tracking while helping to keep online content and services free for all.
The Privacy Sandbox technologies aim to make current tracking mechanisms (like 3rd party cookies) obsolete, and block covert tracking techniques, like fingerprinting, while enabling publishers and developers to keep online content free. All the proposed solutions are being discussed and worked on in the open (e.g. proposed APIs are available to review, comment and contribute to on GitHub https://github.com/WICG/first-party-sets/issues/92 and there are dedicated W3C groups like https://github.com/privacycg/admin)
We, in the Drupal community, need to get familiar with the Privacy Sandbox concepts, approaches and suggested solutions (https://privacysandbox.com/intl/en_us/open-web/#proposals-for-the-web) to understand how they can be brought to Drupal, how we can deal with possible disruptions and what gaps we can identify and bring up for discussion.
Lets discuss this together and draw up a plan for action!
