Call for Papers is Officially Closed
You've made submission selection very difficult!
In true Drupal fashion, we had a huge amount of proposals for DrupalCon Vienna on the last day, bringing us to 567 session submissions. That's going to make session selection very difficult for our track chairs. Of those 567 session, 45% identify as first time speakers and 20% of potential speakers identify as part of one or more underrepresented groups. Our top three(ish) tracks based on number of submissions are: Coding and Development with 93, Business with 72, and Being Human and Site Building have tied with 64.
So, what's next?
Our Track Chairs are reviewing each proposal. They'll pick the community-selected talks that will appear at the Con. Judging by what was submitted, the Con will be full of educational, interesting, and thought-provoking sessions that you don't want to miss. Check out the Proposed Sessions now.
And our Grant and Scholarship Selection Committee will review all of the applications—from incredible, deserving community members around the world—to determine who the award recipients will be.
We appreciate your participation in our call for content and look forward to announcing selected sessions and award recipients on 1 August. Make sure to get your ticket before early-bird pricing ends to get the best price for all of the programming the Con will have to offer.
