Agile is great when it works. But how do you react to the needs of the business when your Drupal site development cycles need to be put on hold or teams need to ramp up quickly? Combine that with limited resources including time, people, and availability and you’ve got to make every moment count.
The session will explore how a small team with a handful of people from Bluespark and Red Hat use agile development practices to do project management, sprint planning, site development, and code releases for two Drupal-based publishing platforms.
This session will:
- Provide tips for establishing clear business objectives
- Share how design is a key attribute in our development cycles
- Provide techniques on how we do project and sprint planning
- Provide advice on how we allocate resources with seasonal work
- Share how we can change from maintenance mode to larger scale projects
