Saving more than 2000 lives every day in Perú with our mobile application FIREFIGHTERS and yes it uses PHP!
500 emergencies happen every day on average (source) and firefighters take time to get to an emergency. That's why we built this mobile app in Perú so that firefighters can go ASAP to emergency. By just tapping on the emergency, the Waze app opens and directs them to the precise location of the emergency. On the way to the emergency firefighters can listen to the relevant emergency channel since there's a RADIO already integrated. (Did you know Firefighters are volunteers in Perú and all of South America? YES this is a key tool for Firefighters used everyday)
