Jon Pugh

Drupal is often referred to as a Swiss army knife: you can use it to build just about anything. Drupal has been used to manage systems and ops in one way or another for years. Aegir & DevShop, Drupal distributions that manage servers and websites. Drupal.org: SSH Key module, git integration, and automated testing. Acquia SiteFactory: a commercial product that allows customers to manage 1000s of sites, is built in DrupalCon. Drupal SaaS businesses. This session will discuss all the ways Drupal can be leveraged for managing servers, sites, users, and more. Drupal4Ops is a new collaborative project to create a standard set of modules to build ops systems. See https://www.drupal.org/project/drupalops for an outline of the initiative.
