Drupal "At Your Service"

mauro_ptt

After Drupal's removal of hook_init() and some other valuable hooks, we asked ourselves how to adapt our code to Drupal 8 and their upcoming versions. Here is where Drupal Services come into the scene.

This session will provide a quick glance about Drupal Service classes, covering bundled services and showing you how to create custom ones, how to access and inject them, all of this powered by sample code based on real life situations and use cases.

This talk is targeted to all Drupal developers, from beginner to intermediate, with special focus on minimizing the impact of moving from Drupal 7 or lower to Drupal 8. It is also a valuable resource for developers that are already familiar Drupal 8 development, by finding practical applications and approaches on solving similar use cases.

After the talk, the slides and a custom module will be available for download.
