How to Champion Diversity and Inclusion in Tech

The media has long been talking about the diversity gap in tech and asking the question, “Where are the women?”  This session will explore what those gaps are and why they exist. Attendees will learn the benefits of building diverse teams, improving the bottom line, and how to retain talent for the long haul.  We will also explore how some companies are using machine learning to improve the diversity of their culture, as well as some of the dangers of bias when using modern tech, like data science.  Both men and women are welcome to this session and will learn simple and effective tools and strategies to become a champion of diversity and inclusion in their companies and organizations.
