Making It Rain With the Mediacurrent "Rain" Install Profile

drupalninja99

In 2018, the Mediacurrent team publically release all of our project tooling that ships with our client projects so that the Open Source community could benefit from the tools we use every day. These tools include the project template used to provision new projects, our DrupalVM-based vagrant, CI scripts and tests, and most notably our own install profile flavor called “Rain.”

In this session, we will cover the origins of the “Rain” install profile which borrowed heavily from Acquia Lightning and the Thunder CMS install profiles, but with key differences. See how our profile provides many optional content and paragraph features that can save time and leverage common content patterns we have observed for years.
