Managing the Client (during a Content Strategy Process)

lwinter

Good content makes or breaks our Drupal websites. While we might be able to hire people to write, our project success still hinges on the client and our ability to manage them during this process. We need a partner to make strategic decisions and often create content, all within a set timeline.

This talk focuses on improving our ability to manage the client and their outcomes during a content strategy. We will start by walking through how to establish rules around creating client stakeholder groups. We will also discuss tools we can use to mitigate politics between those groups and the rest of the organization. Finally, we will discuss how to create (and enforce) a manageable scope and timeline as well as a way to identify and communicate the associated risk.

This session is for project managers, content strategists, and other roles that are responsible for managing projects that involve content creation and strategy.
