Modernizing Drupal with Symfony

The inclusion of Symfony ( components) into Drupal solved many problems and helped open up a new world to drupal developers and made it a lot easier for other non-drupal developers to learn drupal. In this session I ll talk about what problems did Symfony solve for drupal and how we can leverage Symfony components to make better softwares like drupal. My talk will provide clearer contrast between Drupal7 and Drupal8, consequently highlighting the pain points that were removed and the big leap that was taken towards achieving better Developer experience into the Drupal project.
I ll also touch upon areas where we could still leverage symfony components and concepts to make drupal even better and easy to explore for developers.
