A session about recording sessions? That's so meta!
I've recorded and uploaded more than 1,000 Drupal camp sessions with the A/V kit I cobbled together, and I'm able to upload sessions to camp YouTube channels the same day they are recorded.
At least once per camp, I come across someone that either has a similar need in their community, or they've tried the same equipment without success.
If you organize or attend an event that is not currently recording their sessions, then you won't want to miss this talk.
In this session, I'll outline:
- why recording content is important
- components of the kit
- setup and common issues
- my workflow for speedy uploads
Plus, I'll also bring the equipment for attendees to check out.
Compared to other systems, this is lightweight, inexpensive, and easy to use. But I am only one person and can't attend every event (hard as I try). The more people that learn this setup, the more Drupal and related software knowledge we can capture and share.
