News & Updates

We can’t believe DrupalCon Global was a month ago. As we’re looking ahead to future DrupalCons in 2020 and 2021, we wanted to begin by looking back at DrupalCon Global 2020.

The Drupal Association sets the bar for virtual technology conferences with the first-ever DrupalCon Global—bringing together attendees from six continents to move forward not only Drupal's roadmap, but to advance the discussion about the future of the open web, and the way we build community in open source.

The Drupal community has accomplished amazing things with the release of Drupal 9. It’s the easiest major version upgrade in a decade, extending the pattern of continuous innovation from Drupal 8, with dramatically easier tools for end-users.

DrupalCon Global is a great opportunity to learn more about Drupal 9 and the Drupal project overall. No matter your role or where you are in your Drupal journey, there are sessions that will give you the content you need.

In light of last week’s challenging events(the social justice protests across the United States, amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic), we are reflecting on the importance that Drupal is global in scale and has the capability to promote hope through access. With the launch of Drupal 9, we're witnessing an increased interest in the Drupal project from around the world. This year, we have a unique opportunity with our virtual conference to reach a broader audience than ever before. Join us to learn and meet others online everywhere at DrupalCon Global from July 14-17th, 2020 (registration is open now).
