Building a flexible digital brand

Leslie Mac - FOUNDER OF THE FERGUSON RESPONSE NETWORK

Activist and Organizer Leslie Mac shares the story of Black Womxn For, an online and offline project created to be a container for the political work of Black Women and Gender-Non-conforming people in the 2020 Democratic Primary.

Recently awarded the top Social Justice Meme of 2019 by the Center for Story Based Strategy, Black Womxn For disrupted the common narrative of how to engage in the Presidential primary and created its own lane via digital strategy and on the ground organizing. Leslie will share how the leadership team of national thought leaders gathered to create a space they were comfortable organizing in.

If you have struggled with how to create a digital brand that is solid enough for people to resonate with people but flexible enough to adjust to something as volatile as an election cycle, this is the session for you.
