Decision making is not logical. Most neuroscientists agree that over 90% of our behavior begins outside of consciousness. Emotion matters. Explore the psychological principles that drive human behavior and learn about the tools and techniques that can be used to captivate visitors' attention and enhance the user experience on your website.

  • Users are more likely to take action if they’re told to do so by a trustworthy figure and tend to believe, trust and buy from people they like. This knowledge is guided by 2 of the 7 principles of persuasion. We’ll share them all so you can use them too.

  • When a user's motivation to act, ability to act, and compelling reason to act all align, this is when you’re able to truly boost conversions. Everything starts with defining a specific desired behavior and behavior type. We can build models for users’ emotions using special tools and techniques like emotional personas to foster the desired behavior.
  • We’re all affected by Cognitive Biases, but who knew the list was so long! From Anchoring, Egocentric, Recency, Confirmation, and Congruence Biases, we will touch on some of the more common biases that are found when you’re working towards optimizing conversions and increasing the engagement of your users.
