David Strauss

This session will showcase the work that has been accomplished to date by the Automatic Updates Initiative, and will review the roadmap of enhancements to come.

We'll include an overview of the site administrator experience if you haven't seen it in action yet, demonstrating areas where automatic updates excel and limitations you should be aware of. Then we'll dig into the backend security and infrastructure work that has been happening so you can feel confident when you turn automatic updates on.

If you're curious what more you can expect from the Initiative in the future, we'll also look at the Initiative Roadmap for Phase II and discuss how headway in the Composer Initiative will affect automatic updates.
