Sounds familiar? We often find ourselves battling situations where we fail to understand WHAT and HOW to sell when it comes to UX design & strategy. This is a talk on how to become an effective UX design seller, by a UX designer.
 

Learning Objectives

The UX design community often struggles to package and present their offerings right; frequently relying on sales to apply a generic selling model for UX research and strategy.

The question we often tackle is, “How to sell your UX expertise”. A thought that often clouds our mind while we want to achieve design success for our clients. The intent more often than not is to showcase your UX design capabilities and attract potential leads. 

In this presentation, while the above challenges would be addressed, we would also take a journey to uncover: 

  • Content and presentation techniques for impact 

  • What tools and techniques to use to explain what you do and how you do it?

  • What language to use?

  • How to package and present UX

  • UX sales plan

  • UX sales kit

The last thing to cover would be how creating an impact in the Drupal Community, as a volunteer, can create business success for you and your organization.
