Announcing DrupalCon Los Angeles Keynote Speaker Matt Asay

While seeing the Driesnote is always a highlight of every DrupalCon, this year's other keynote speakers are guaranteed to please as well. We are excited to announce one of the keynote speakers for DrupalCon Los Angeles: on Thursday morning, expect to hear from Matt Asay, a seasoned open source professional and regular tech columnist.

Asay has been involved with open source for over 15 years, and is one of the industry's foremost open source business strategists. He currently runs mobile strategy for Adobe's Digital Marketing business, and has a wealth of Big Data and mobile experience. Asay has run business development at companies like MongoDB, Strobe (acquired by Facebook), and Alfresco. Currently, Asay writes regularly on mobile, Big Data, and open source for ReadWrite, InfoWorld, and TechRepublic.

We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Asay to the stage at DrupalCon Los Angeles, where he will discuss the value of contributing to open source. In Asay's own words, "In open source, the more you contribute, the more it pays." In his presentation, Asay will identify the best ways to get involved in open source, and the top five reasons for doing so.

We would like to issue a big thank you to all of our sponsors that are helping make DrupalCon Los Angeles happen. To become a sponsor, contact our team. In the meantime, don’t forget to register to attend the conference.
