BDD, Behat, & You: A nontechnical intro to the world behavior-driven development
ckwright
BDD (Behavior Driven Development) is something I think everyone should embrace and this talk will give nontechnical people an introduction to BDD and a specific framework called behat and hopefully inspire you to integrate both into your own workflows.
But I can hear you now, you’re a ux designer, a project manager, a business analyst? Why should you care about BDD or behat or testing? Aren’t those things only developers should worry about?
You’re wrong. Think of BDD & behat as user stories 2.0
With behat and BDD, you write human-readable stories that describe the behavior of your application. These stories can then be auto-tested against your application. And yes, it’s as cool as it sounds!
