Node.JS and Headless Drupal: An implementation guide

Suppose you want to build a headless Drupal site, but you're unsure of where to start — you want to avoid any potential pitfalls but you're not sure what they could be. In this session we'll be taking an in depth look at a recently developed headless Drupal reference implementation. We'll be talking through many of the gotcha's on the frontend that you should be aware of when building a headless Drupal site. Things we'll be investigating include:
- Route management and creation for your frontend
- Implementing API authentication, management, and rate limiting
- Usage of HAL and it's benefits
- Basic API design and name spacing
- Redirects, 404's and other basics you might have gotten for free on a standard Drupal site
