Say Hello To Bean Blocks!

Using the Bean module for better blocks.

We'll be going over the bean module as an option for adding various types of blocks to your Drupal site. We'll step through core drupal blocks, node blocks, and finally bean blocks to better understand the benefits of having an entity block type.

What is Bean? 
Think of a Bean as a method to provide new types (compared to node this would be a content type) which then provides an add content interface to create as many blocks as you require (see screenshot below). The bean content can then be placed around the site just like any other block.
