User Experience Design with Drupal and Beyond
Did you know you, yes YOU, could potentially provide the most valuable information at all of DrupalCon New Orleans?
User Experience (UX) design is the web practice that spans across all disciplines and is arguably the single most important part of web development. It requires an understanding of project goals as well as the goals and needs of the user. It takes thinking from the perspective of an outsider when planning every detail of a site and comprehending content and context to make sure we aren't sending our beloved user on a wild goose chase to find what it is they, and ultimately we, need.
If in any phase of our web project we don't take into account user needs, we're setting up to fail. Luckily, UX provides the recipes to avoid those mistakes.
And YOU, my friend, are the master chef with the recipes to share.
And what's unique about the UX track is that you don't have to be a Drupal expert to provide a quality session for attendees. UX expertise is generally platform-agnostic. But we certainly welcome Drupal-specific UX trickery if you have any.
With your help, we can make this track the best UX track at a conference to date.
