Having data will empower you to make your case more clearly and effectively when going into battle with your designer over graphic elements and visuals that kill your load time. Configure reports with custom metrics to grade you based on your performance budget.

Linting

Hold your code to a higher standard by linting it. Set your own standards and get feedback when when you are breaking conventions or have bugs in your code. This presentation will include demos of linting SCSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

Automating Repetitive Tasks

Learn how to make your life easier. Focus on the bigger picture while automation handles the grunt work. Do anything from simple tasks like automatically minimizing various theme assets; or more complicated tasks like creating an image sprites with SCSS mixins already mapped to multiple pixel densities.
