Datalayer: What it is, and why you need it

Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics (GA) are among the most popular (and inexpensive) tag manager and analytics platforms, but integrating them in a clean and clear way can be tricky. With the datalayer Drupal module we will explore out-of-the-box datalayer handling in Drupal for super-tight GTM/GA integrations that require less code and offer more flexibility for your data needs.
Attendees will obtain a string introduction to the dataLayer practice and encounter real-world examples of GTM/GA integrations to help kickstart their push for better analytics, something we all need.
Note: the datalayer module only supports Drupal 7 but the topics and implementation example will work on any site following the datalayer guidelines.
