Good UX isn’t just for end-users. Developing an efficient design process helps you, too.

Mark Dodgson

As UX & Visual Designers we love to create beautiful experiences for our end-users, but what about the experience we create for ourselves while developing those products?

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by trying to keep up with the latest shiny software, you don’t currently have an efficient design process, or you’re looking for a way to streamline your current process, this talk is for you. Attendees will leave this presentation with simple, practical and streamlined solutions for working with clients and peers remotely.

This is a PRACTICAL no fuss talk with tips (ie. using a combination of ipad apps, apple pencil, airserver on the mac and Google Hangouts to give the ultimate shared sketching enviroment while working through ideas with our clients), tricks and most importantly the incredible tools that we’ve put in place to streamline our internal design process.

We’ll chat about how our remote team at Bluespark utilizes these design tools to create a beautiful internal user experience.

I’ve been a designer for the past 17 years and a College Professor in the design department at Mohawk College in Ontario Canada since 2010. I authored the current 3 year web design and development curriculum and believe that our design process should have a good user experience so we can provide the same for end-users.
