Learning Drupalese for project teams
As Drupal project managers and business analysts we deal with communication challenges on every project. It is our job interface with clients, stakeholders and third party vendors who have certain expectations for the implementation of the project but have trouble articulating their needs. Could this be because we are speaking many languages? And why are you the only one who knows how to speak Drupal?!
Defining a common lexicon and providing clients with basic Drupal training at the onset of a project can both set expectations and gets clients excited about the possibilities of a dynamic site where content is created once and used many. In this session we will explore effective ways to quickly pre-train clients at the onset of the project to that both the teams are working from a common language.
If you have ever been part of a Drupal project delivery team or ever plan to be part of another implementation, then this session is for you.
Attendees will leave this session with an actionable game plan and curiculum for providing quick, painless and effective client pre-training.
