Leverage the AJAX Framework for Awesome UX

Overview Awesome indeed! In this session we will learn how developers can make fantastic user experiences using the power of the AJAX framework in Drupal. We will go over the "use-ajax" class, "#ajax" in forms api, "#states" in forms api and the conditional fields module. With these basic concepts we will learn how to add that special something to your projects. This session will be fast paced and full of some pratical examplesexamples! This session is geared toward developers but will include some sitebuilding tips at the end. Topics Covered Learning what AJAX Commands are and creating custom callbacks that return them. Using the "use-ajax" class to make links and buttons submit with ajax Using the "#ajax" key in our forms Using "#states" in our forms for client side form state conditions & reactions Using the Conditional Fields module, a use inteface built on "#states" for fields.

Attendees should have a basic understanding of php and Drupal.
