No Wiggle Room: A Lean Startup Case Study

It’s a reality– the client who signs a scope of work without a contingency budget. But it doesn’t have to be a death march.

Xenio is a brand new lighting-based smart building startup. As such, their budget was tightly constrained and closely monitored, but they also had high aspirations for their web presence. From a project management perspective, this could be a recipe for disaster, but the project launched successfully on an aggressive timeline, without budget overage and with a happy project team.

In this session, we’ll take a deep dive into the management strategies employed on the Xenio project that helped to make it a win for everyone. From client communication tactics to timeline development to pre-launch QA and feedback control, this project with all its constraints allowed each member of the project team (including the client!) to shine in a unique and individual way that the entire Drupal community can learn from, regardless of level.
