Showcase in Japan: two types of multi sites

Recently the necessity for Drupal is getting higher also in Japan. So far, we developed various sites by Drupal. I want to talk about two interneting showcases among them. Both sites were needed to be multi sites. But how to implement was quite different. I will explain how we did and share the technical knowledge. Also I want to make understood the system integrating culture in Japan through them.

Summary of both multi sites :

  • Type 1: Not sharing database, just sharing modules. Domains are different.
  • Type 2: Sharing database and modules. Domains are same and accessible roles are different.

It is better that attendees  have moderate level skills.

I think Drupal is not widely accepted in Japan until now, and it's very difficult to find reliable Drupal engineer. I want to make many people known the actual situation of Drupal in Japan through my session, and I hope many attendees have an interest in Drupal business in Japan.
