Receiving feedback on a project can be stressful when it isn't given well. Giving feedback well is a skill, one that anyone can master. Let's go over ways to be aware of our coworkers and teammates, and give feedback that is concise, actionable and well received. This session is for everyone from new to long-time developers and designers and managers.
We'll discuss how things can go wrong in giving feedback, techniques for getting feedback on track, how to develop awareness of stressful situations, ways to guide teams for good feedback, and what to do when feedback goes bad.
