Managing a Drupal project for the first time? Trying to figure out how to manage the project efficiently? This course provides a guide to Drupal from a project manager's point of view.
You'll learn the fundamentals of how Drupal works and get familiar with Drupal terminology. You'll also learn how to develop requirements for a Drupal project, how wireframes translate into Drupal elements, and what's easy and hard to do with Drupal. Pick up tips and tricks for working with open source projects, and working with Drupal developers, themers, and site builders. Know what questions to ask the client and what questions to ask your Drupal team at each step in the project.
The curriculum includes hands-on Drupal exercises to get you comfortable with Drupal. It also includes workshops for planning a Drupal project and independent exercises to help you think through the process of building a website for your particular use case.

Project managers who are new to Drupal or site builders who want to understand the Drupal project management process.
We assume that you have no experience with Drupal. Familiarity with general project management concepts will help you get the most out of this course.
You need a fresh install of Drupal 8 on your laptop to use for the course. Before the course, we’ll send you step-by-step instructions on how to set up Drupal 8 using Acquia Dev Desktop.
