- Private group -

Note: This, and other lab sessions, will not be recorded.

With over 350,000 content objects to migrate and more than 250 editors, Portland.gov is a huge undertaking. The vision is to create a community-focused website where services are easy to find, easy to access, and easy to understand.

Regardless of your experience level, you'll learn new ways to structure Drupal for a large-scale site that must to scale to the demands of a city government.

In this session, we will cover:

  • modeling to turn an organization's data into an engine to deliver services and education
  • creating a better search model to help your community of users quickly find what they need
  • building capacity in a team new to Drupal through relationships with partner organizations
  • teaching a fleet of content editors to build for understanding and accessibility

Along the way, we will touch topics such as dev ops, composer, paragraphs, and more.
